are battling 应该是与疾病作斗争 怎么感觉是与国家作斗争 outbreak of the disease是它的宾补?
再答： Most outbreaks including the most recent in Guinea have been in Africa包括最近在几内亚爆发的疾病在内的 大多数疾病 已经 在非洲爆发。

第三个句子那个作宾语的话
are battling 的宾语 是 outbreak of the disease 前面的可以看做 定语
