4 Reason why endangered
What is being done to protect it?
Recent climatic change has increasingly brought the polar bear into contact with human,as they have to travel further to get food.Its reduction in number has meant that the Polar bear has fewer opportunities to find its natural food.It is said that two-thirds of the world’s polar bears are likely to be gone by 2050.Other human activities in the Arctic,such as oil exploration,and hunting have caused polar bears to lose their homes and their lives.Thinner ice has also caused cubs to drop into ice hollow.
Forcing on these crises,humans had taken some measures to slow down the deteriorated situation.For example,the government has increased the awareness of environmental protection and limit producing emissions.The agreement on conservation of polar bears in1973 allows the taking of polar bears for scientific purpose,and each nation has established its own regulations to protect it.IUCN helps to coordinate and recognize management and research efforts of five polar bear nation.It remains hopeful for polar bear’s futures if the public continue paying attention to their life and did most of things environmentally friendly.

4.Reasons why Polar Bears are endangered.What is being done to protect them?
Recent climatic changes has increasingly brought the polar bears into contact with humans,as they are forced to travel further and further in search of food.The reduction in its numbers means that the Polar Bears have fewer opportunities to find its natural food.In fact,scientists have theorized that two-thirds of the world's polar bears will die off by 2050.Other human activities in the Arctic,such as oil exploration and hunting,have also caused many polar bears to loose their homes and their lives.
Furthermore,global warming has played a huge part in adversely affecting the polar bears' lives.As the levels of carbon dioxide in the world rises,the temperature rises also,and this rise in temperature causes ice in both the Arctic and the Antarctic to thin.Thin ice causes polar bear cubs to fall into the ice water below,and the melting of ice sheets have decreased the available space for these bears to live on.
In response to these issues,countries worldwide have taken some measures to allevitae the present situation.For example,the government in those countries have tried to increase the global awareness of environmental protection and laws have been passed to limit the emissions of carbon dioxide into the air.Also,an agreement on the conservation of polar bears in 1973 allowed polar bears to be taken for scientific purposes,and each nation has already established its own regulations in protecting the bears.Moreover,IUCN,the International Union for Conservation of Nature,haved helped coordinate and recognize management and research efforts for the protection of polar bears in five nations.
The future of these lovely bears will remain hopeful only if the public begins to pay more attention to their lives,and to take an active part in helping improve the environment.
