小弟初到国外..生物课要交报告...高人们能不能帮忙修改下语法错误.
Genus Gorilla is the largest living primate on the earth.There are two species in genus Gorilla,Western gorilla (Gorilla gorilla) and Eastern Gorilla (Gorilla beringei).Both are inhabited in the jungle of Africa,all gorillas are herbivore.Gorilla and chimpanzee are the closest evolutionary relative animal to human.The DNA ofgenus Gorilla is 92%–98% identical to a human.Gorilla society is generally leaded by males,a gorilla troop usually consist of a dominant silverback,several adult females,and their immature offspring (Claudio et al 2008).
We have three different articles which focus on three different research areas about gorilla,first,the interaction between each group member.Second,the imitation skill of gorillas,did Juvenile learn complex skill from other adult gorilla.Third,the nutritional quality of gorilla,how did the difference of age,sex,and season affect on the nutritional quality of a group of gorillas.
The scientific article Peaceful Post-Conflict Interactions between Aggressors and Bystandersin Captive Lowland Gorillas (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) is about the intergroup interaction in the gorilla troops and it also contrasted the Peaceful Post-Conflict Interactions between Aggressors and Bystanders (PPIAB) with the Interactions between Victims and Bystanders (PPIVB),the article is also indicated the main purpose of PPIAB.
They observed gorilla groups for a very long period of time and collected the behavioral data on agonistic interactions.They distinguished three different levels of aggression and observed interactions of aggressors and victims with third parties.They focused on contacts that spontaneously offered by third parties toward victims or aggressors,and tried to found out what is the purpose of this action ( Palagi et al 2008
Wild mountain gorillas (Gorilla beringei beringei) which inhabited in Rwanda are able to use complex feeding skills to obtain African nettles (Laportea alatipes) as a food source,they acquire these skills by means of the program-level imitation.(Byrne,2003).In the article,an experimental study of nettle feeding in captive gorillas,the researchers gave highly similar nettles to western lowland gorillas (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) to see whether western lowland gorillas also have the program-level imitation (Claudio et al 2008).
They gave European nettle stems (Urtica dioica) and willow (Salix sp.) to captive western lowland gorillas (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) which housed in three different zoos and recorded their ethogram of actions used for feeding leaves.They also tested some bonobos,orangutans,and chimpanzees,so they were able to contrast the test results with gorillas (Claudio et al 2008).
