The giant panda
THE gaint panda looks very lovely .Some parts of its body are white .A giant panda is about 70-125kg .It looks fat ,but is can trees well .Besides climbing trees ,the pandas can also swim .The giant panda spends ten to twelve hours a day eating ,and about 99% of its food is bamboo .
The giant panda has its baby when it is about 5.5 or 6.5 years old .The new born giant panda is very small .It is only 100-200g and only 15-17 cm long .The baby giant panda doesn’t go out of its home until it is 4-6 weeks old .Then when it is bigger .its mother starts to carry it with her .When the young giant panda is 12-22 month old ,it can walk around by itself with its mother’s help .
