（一）研究内容：希望通过自己的一些探索性研究,将民间美术中宝贵的,值得学习的方法,诸如造型手法的多样性,灵活性,装饰的趣味性,丰富多彩的图像元素等加以系统的研究整理,从而探讨如何将民间美术中的精神元素和现代设计语言重新结合,使他具有新的时代特征,并使它丰富现代设计的艺术语言和思想内涵.
（二）研究方法：
本文主要有以下几种方法：
1.文献研究法.本文充分查阅相关图书、报刊,充分利用中国数字化期刊网(CNKI)、万方期刊网、人大复印资料检索数据库等网络知识信息工具,广泛搜集有关民间美术与现代设计相关的文献资料,根据民间美术的相关理论,运用一定的文献研究法,文献研究方法主要指搜集、鉴别、整理文献,并通过对文献的研究,形成对事实科学认识的方法.在对这些理论研究成果进行归纳总结的基础上吸收和借鉴,并进行一定程度上的创新性结合.
2.访谈调查法.为保障本文的科学性和实际价值,本人通过与一些设计创作人员进行访谈和调查,了解他们对民间美术元素的应用状况,通过分析和总结,得出结论.定性分析与定量分析相结合.
3.根据对某类事物中具有代表性的部分对象及其属性之间必然联系的认识,得出一般性结论的方法.本研究对现代设计在多元文化形态空间中的需求进行归纳整理,从而的出来自己的结论.
4.通过本人运用计算机绘图软件进行设计,综合应用民间美术的特征及其可利用的元素,结合当前的设计潮流,进行创作实践,以实践结合理论进行分析.
（三）本研究的创新之处
通过分析现代设计法则在民间美术中的体现,以及现代艺术设计的多元空间需求,从而探讨民间美术如何在现代设计中进行运用,以及两者如何进行融合.即集民间美术之精华结合现代设计进行创作的成果.

Ⅴ. Innovative aspects of this research topic
(1) Research topics: It is hoped that through an explorative research, some of the skills valuable and worth learning in folk arts, such as the versatility and flexibility of the expression, decorative humor, and colorful image elements, will be systematically analyzed and categorized, allowing an exploration of how to
combine the spiritual elements of the folk art with the modern design language, giving such art characteristics of a new era, thus enriching the artistic language and ideological content of modern designs.
(2) Research method:
This paper will utilize the following methods:
1. Literature research. This paper references a whole range of relevant books and periodcials, makes full use of China digital periodical net (CNKI), Wanfang journal net, People's University photocopied materials searchable database (人大复印资料检索数据库) and other network knowledge information tools, and collects a wide spectrum of literature on folk art and modern design. Accoding to pertinent theories of folk arts and the method of literature study, method of literature study is the method through the collection, classification, and categorization of literature, and the study of such literature to find what a scientific understanding is for a subject. This study will start from summary of these past theoretical research results and will further advance them by innovative combinations.
2. Interview survey approach. To ensure the scientific and practical values of this paper, I will visit and interview a number of designers to understand their usage of folk art elements and obtain conclusions through analysis and summary. This will combine qualitative and quantitative analyses.
3. The method of abstracting a general conclusion from the logical connection between a few representative individuals in a class of objects and their properties. This study will reach its own conclusions by analyzing and catergorizing the requirement by modern design in a multi-cultural environment.
4. Design practice using computer graphics software, accomplished with the integral application of the characterisitcs and usable elements of folk arts and following the current design trend. Analyze by comparing the practice to theory.
(3) The aspect of innovation in this research
Through the analysis of the embodiment of modern design rules in folk arts, and the requirement of multi-element environment by modern art design, the approach to utilize and merge folk arts into modern design is explored. Thus the resulting creation is a combination of the essence of folk arts with modern design.
