I recently participated in a fashion design contest run by the school. I didn't participate last year, but I found that the designs in the contest were not as good as I had imagined. Therefore, this year I formed a team with a bunch of good buddies and tried out the contest to see if I could deliver better designs than the ones of those contestants. I realized that designing was a very interesting process, from making the decision on the color, to fabric, to the model. We had spent a long time before we finally came out with a piece that we were all satisfied, but we didn't win the contest anyway, because the winner piece was truly more glamorous and sophisticated than ours, and their model was more confident as well. Nevertheless, my buddies and I had a great time during the whole event, in addition, I learned a lesson that I shall not be arrogant no matter what I do.
