Titles says it all really,I need to upgrade and was wondering if that would fit the bill.I don't have much of a budget,I'd say £100 max!

Yes it can,although for that price I recommend the faster Radeon HD 7750 (which uses even less power)
You could even get the Radeon HD 7770 for under £100 but that card would probably require upgrading your computer's power supply.I don't know your computer's PSU capacity,but the Radeon HD 6670 and 7750 are low power consumption cards.They work fine on most factory 300 watt power supplies (the manufacturer's published recommendation of 400W is over-inflated).The Radeon 7770 requires a minimum 450-500 watt power supply which provides a 6-pin connector,so getting something of that level often requires buying a new PSU first.
