The book which I have finished and been moved deeply these days is.It is written by a romanticism American writer,. Nathaniel Hawthornesan. “The Scarlet Letter” means a capital red word literally But in fact , it’s short for the word ”adultery”.So it’s a story about sin, redemption and love. The story happened in Boston in the minddle 17th century. The heroine of the novel is a woman called Hester Prynne.She loved a young minister, Dimmesdale and had a child with him.But when she suffered a great deal from public opinion and rebuke of the religion,the minister didn’t dare recognize he is just the child’s father because the woman already had her husband through they didn’t love each other. Hester’s husband is Roger Chillingworth.He is a Malicious and craftytaking vengeance for that two lovers. I think a person whose heart is always cruel or impassive must be very unhappy. man although he looked very erudite and friendly.He spent his whole life in At the very time he began to avenge himself on the minister, his soul, of course, was turned over to the devil. Hester lived in shame and disgrace, for she ever committed adultery. Although she struggled in the dark every day, she never loses her hope of life. She didn’t regret what she did, but came to her sense and corrected her mistake instead.She tried her best to kept selent to protect Dimmesdale.What made her do that was love. While Dimmesdale regretted his irresponsible behavior all the time and finally he told everyone he was the man who hid for seven years.He loved Hester from his heart. But unlike his lover ,he often felt regretdisregard made him more and more anguished.As far as I’m concerned ,he was a brave man anyhow. After all, he was a ed .He as well as loved their child ,Pearl .But Pearl’s minister. Most people in the village was proud of him . Then, let’s talk about the lovely and innocent girl ,Pearl. She couldn’t understand why her mother should wear a scarlet letter on the chest. Burning with curiosity and doubt, she even flew into a temple when her mother took off the scarlet letter. Dimmesdale owned himself in the wrong in front of everybody and he owned Pearl’ kiss at last. Personally, Pearl had a warm heart like her mother .She also loved everybody she knew. Her mischief sometimes had some people dislike her ,but she wouldn’t hate them at all.I’m glad Pearl grew up in such an environment .She would be a strong woman in the future. The story came to a bad end, but in my mind, Hester Prynne and Dimmesdale found their timeless peace and quiet. With the scarlet letter shining brightly, devotion to the beautiful and prayer of hope led the lovers went towards the Heaven, where they cannot find sorrow and icy detachment.
we may meet many people living in their own way.Good and evildoer,selfishnesss and enthusiasm ,luck and unluck are in the world around us at the same time.But please believe it, the love is never changed forever.
