Hi,You don’t know me but Thanks for an insightful and interesting speech this afternoon at the Bakery Road – Service Club whose guest I was of John Cookman of the American BAnk of Canada at Pope and Lottery Avenue.
As I listened to some of the questions especially Development that were directed at you after your speech,the thought occurred to me to ask about this issue which is herewith included and alarmed me when I first read about it recently.An excerpt from Harold Blossomb’s April Fool Edition of the Saturday World.
I could not remember all the details at the time during the luncheon speech you were making,but I do remember tearing this section of the leftover World while I patiently awaited a haircut the other day at the Pickborough Mall,and the thought still remained to whom could I take this issue if in fact there was any truth to it!
Although I work in a field directly related to Development,Construction,the immediate thoughts that go through ones mind when reading something like this.First of all every once and awhile I personally enjoy using our national parks and especially in the summer they make good picnic grounds for large clubs and family outings and company gatherings and personally in my opinion I would not like to see even one of these wonderful natural resources tampered with in any negative way!
The second thing is I very much respect your “Lowly Politicians Job” as you so aptly put it but hope you will continue to carry on the superb responsibilities you have so admirably taken on that I am wondering why you would not be seriously interested in being willing to take over where Mr.Harrass is leaving off?I hope you would be willing to answer these question either personally or or a province wide level-entirely your choice!
