Fig.4 indicates the adsorption spectra changes of
TE-Ag NP solution after the addition of different concentrations
of Cd21 over 30 min.A linear correlation exists between
R and the logarithm of the Cd21 concentration C over the
range of 2.5 \4 10\25 to 5.0 \4 10\23 M.The linear equation is
R ¼ 1.038 þ (0.186 \4 log [C]) with a linearity coefficient of
0.998.The limit of colorimetric detection for Cd21 is
2.0 \4 10\25 M,which is higher than those of the reported
techniques such as atomic emission spectrometry (AES)
(2.0 \4 10\29 M),18 atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS)
(3.0 \4 10\28 M),19 etc.However,the colorimetric sensor is
convenient for on-site and rapid detection with minimal
instrumentation.
In conclusion,triazole-ester modified silver nanoparticles
(TE-Ag NPs) have been successfully prepared through click
chemistry.It shows that a noble and efficient metal nanoconjugation
has been explored.The modified Ag-NPs could be
utilized as a novel colorimetric probe for Cd21,and show a
rapid qualitative analysis of Cd21.
