It is often debated that whether a name is important or not.Some persons consider that they have a good name and their name are very important for the following reasons.
First,a good name is representative of expectations from your parents.For instance,one Chinese’s parents may hope he have a very happy life in the future if they named he “lele”.Second,They claim that a good name,or a name that can be easily remembered,can bring one a lot more opportunities than others．Third,just as the old saying goes:a thing is the entity of a name.We are humans and we are so different with those inanimate objects .Therefore name is certainly significant for us.
However people have diverse opinions on the importance of a name.To begin with,name is only a code,and we can call anything with the same name if we want.And as it is known to us,in china,there are so many people with the same name,so we need not take our name too serious.In addition,there is no necessary connection between one’s name and his personality.For example,a man named ‘Jun’ which means emperor or ambition may prefer a peace life.
In my opinion,I think name is very important in our daily life because it is the symbol distinguishes one thing or person from the others.After all,the first thing that people learn about a person is usually his name,and a name that sounds beautiful may give and leave people a great first impression..On the other hand,we should not exaggerate the effect of a name on a person’s fate．.For a bright future,we need intelligence,honesty,sincerity and efforts more than just a beautiful name.
