8.I accept any offer of credit (advanced standing) detailed in this letter.
9.I understand that I must consult with my course convener before I enroll in any subjects (units).
10.That I will be required to comply with all student visa regulations imposed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship,including the fact that I must notify the University of Canberra of any changed in my enrolment or contact details (residential address and /or telephone number in Australia) within 7 days of such a change taking place.Further information about student Visa requirements is available from the nearest Australian diplomatic mission or from www.immi.gov.au
11.That information supplied by me to the University of Canberra may be made available to Australian Commonwealth and State government agencies in accordance with the University’s obligation under the ESOS Act 2007 and the National Code,available from www.deewr.gov.au .These obligations include the requirement to advise the appropriate Commonwealth Department of changed to my enrolment and any breach of my student visa conditions relating to my attendance or academic progress.
12.That I will be subject to the University of Canberra Act 1989,and to the Statutes and Rules of the University,available from the University website:https://guard.canberra.edu.au/policy/
13.I am not an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident,or citizen of New Zealand,nor hold an Australian Permanent Protection Visa.
14.I authorize University of Canberra to check details of my migration status (study and/ or work entitlements) with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
15.This agreement,and the availability of complaints and appeals processes,does not remove my right to take action under Australia’s consumer protection laws.
