第三,交通运输业是旅游业的重要组成部门之一.交通费用属于基本旅游消费,是旅游者在旅游活动中必须支付的开支,因此也是旅游收入的来源
目前,人们外出旅游的主要旅行方式是乘坐汽车,飞机,火车和轮船.
就荣县目前而言,荣县离最近的机场成都双流机场约200 公里,5小时车程.离最近的火车站自贡车站约40公里,1.5 小时车程.没有水上交通.荣县现有两个汽车客运站,每天车流量约1000 辆,载客人数约 4000人次.刚好能满足当地现有客流量需求.所以,如果游客量增加,荣县的交通运输还不能满足增加的客流量.目前,荣县无高速公路,最好的道路设施为一级道路,为15年以前修建.现在已经很破烂,缺乏修缮.
因此荣县目前的交通设施情况还不能满足发展旅游的需求.
