This is a rapid developing information age. The information technology is now more and more widely used. Therefore, the competition among enterprises is getting more intensified. In order to maintain their status in the market, one after another, many companies have to arm themselves with all means of new and advanced technologies to sharpen their competitiveness. One of the effective and powerful methods is by using a system called ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). In today's world, financial management is getting more and more refining, the demand for the enterprise financial management is ever so high. The traditional financial management systems can no longer accommodate the highly competitive society of the world now. Internally, with the society's increasing of consumption level, customers are now going for personalized requirements rather than just satisfying their basic needs. In order to adapt to the new demand trend, all the enterprises have to change their production methods, must find the solution to solve the problems, which has raised from the new economic environment. The new working platform provides by ERP is an essential condition to face these challenges. it is capable to control the entire enterprise information and could clearly provide the decision making with an information data processing system. The application of ERP in enterprise financial management shall be able to help the leadership's ideology, technology, method implementations and so on many aspects' innovations. However, nothing is perfect, everything has pros and cons, when applying of ERP system, it certainly has its advantages and there are a few relatated matters needed to pay attention to during the working process as well.
