第一句中括号里的that为什么不是修饰countries而是修饰bonds,第二句中的that为什么不是修饰college student而是修饰stigma.我记得定语从句修饰关系上是不是有就近原则啊,难道是我记错了么.

这是分隔性定语从句.“你记得定语从句修饰关系上是不是有就近原则啊”.这句话是错的.应该根据整个句意,可以把先行词和引导词分隔开来.所以1、2两句就都能迎刃而解了
