My class had a big history project about ancient cicilizations recently.We had to do three reports and build a model of a famous ancient building.All my reports were about ancient China,and my model was of the Temple of Heaven.
After days of hard work,I finished the reports.Then came the hard part,the model.I didn't want to buy thing.I wanted to use things I had at home.I looked for things I could use and tried a few ideas,but none worked out.
I finally decided to use paper.But when I was halfway through,my father had and idea.He made a model to show me what it lookde like.It looked really nice.And my mother suggested that I use my own.When I finally made mine,It wasn't as good as my father's.
Parents came to see our models.Most students' models were much more beautiful than mine.I asked a few of them.They told me they usen their parents' help.
Here is the project of my friend.His model was a pyramid.He told me his parents helped him.
My mother said I was too close-minded to accept my father's help.True,I was not willing to start over even though I knew my father's idea would work better.
But I also wanted to work by myself.Do you think I should have used my father's help?
