Jay Chou was born on 18 January,1979,and raised by his mother,who was a high school teacher.He began (playing)the piano at the age of 3,and showing (special) interest in music.His parents divorced when he was 14.As a result,he became very independent.Jay (took) piano courses at Serior High School.In June 1996,Jay (failed to)the university,so he found a job as a waiter.
