To estimate the model parameters,we used the computer package SAS for data regression.The likelihood ratio obtained was equal to 6,332,7608 with seven degrees of freedom,which is highly significant,with p < 0.0001.So,at least one of the coefficients is not null.In logit models,when the coefficient value is high,the Wald statistics may lead to type II errors,i.e.false negative – considering the effect not significant when,in fact,it is (HAUCK,DONNER,1977).In the case of the model tested,this occurred in variables AREA and CRIMES and the rest of the coefficients were all significant with p
