广西各族人民一向有爱唱民歌的习俗，以歌传情，以歌会友，共同抒发对美好生活的向往和热爱。为把民歌发扬光大，从1993年起广西开始举办“广西国际民歌节”。民歌成了飞架于广西各民族与全国各兄弟民族及世界民族之间的彩虹。
从此，每年的金秋，五洲四海的宾朋好友乘着歌声翅膀而来，与美丽的绿城南宁相约一年一度的世界民歌盛会，一起同台献技、倾心交流，民族的、现代的、世界的文化之流在这里汇集、交融，共同演绎出一首世界欢歌。
南宁国际民歌艺术节以打造新民歌、弘扬民族文化、扩大中外文化交流为宗旨。经过六年的精心打造，南宁国际民歌艺术节以其浓郁的民族性、强劲的现代性、广泛的国际性和高雅的艺术性赢得世界越来越多的关注，影响力日益扩大。南宁国际民歌艺术节正以一种蓬勃向上的姿态走向开放的世界大舞台。
秋天的南宁是最美丽、最动人的，我们将再一次以动听的歌声迎候天下宾客的到来！

Nanning International Folk Song Arts Festival in order to create new songs,promote the national culture,for the purpose of expanding the Sino-foreign cultural exchanges.After six years of well-built,Nanning International Folk Song Arts Festival of the national character of its rich,strong,modern,and a wide range of international and elegant artistry to win the world more and more concerned about the growing influence.Nanning International Folk Song Arts Festival is a vigorous and open attitude towards the world stage.
