With the increasing pace of modern life and the falling transportation costs,people's travelling consumption increases year after year,but the consciousness of environmental protection has declined year by year.What a funny and odd contrast.The fact that many countries have very severe punishment for destruction of the environment especially in public places or tourist attractions.Take Singapore for example,if someone break the rule might have cought penalty of caning.Yet we would not go that far,but we still ought to take effective actions.On the one hand,it is neccessary to carry out a nation-wide campaign publicizing virtue of environmental protection.On the other hand,we should appeal to our government to legislate strict penalties such as fines and compulsory labor for violating regulations.Only in this way doing so can we protect our scenic area.
The theme of harmonious society requires not only a harmonious life but also need to emphasize the harmonious development between human and nature.
