求大神帮助理解这两句的结构.

1.这种兔子在新西兰和澳大利亚地区没有天敌,所以它们那种原本没有的杂乱随便的特性就被加剧了.这里 the Antipodes 是指新西兰和澳大利亚地区；so that 是所以的意思,是一个连词；multiplied with 是乘以,加倍,加剧的意思.
这句话就分为前句和后句,中间以 so that 连接
2.这个问题变成了人类能否控制他们发明的疾病.
这里 one of whether + 后面的句子是指句子中的宾语,whether + 后面跟的句子是修饰 one 的从句,可以说是定语从句.
再问： “那种原本没有的杂乱随便的特性就被加剧了”这翻译得有点奇怪~~能不能拆开讲解一下呢？whether + 后面跟的句子是修饰one的同位语从句吗？
