My major duties as a Director of Communications:
Strong Press Relations in China ( Beijing & Shanghai )
To be on the constant lookout for a story and picture story.
To recognize stories and photographic subjects which arise or are concerned with the hotel.
To prepare these stories, and arrange photographs in the way, which is most likely to make them acceptable for publication.
To answer, both accurately and promptly, press inquiries concerning the hotel.
To help arrange press, broadcasting and television facilities in the hotel when they are needed.
To build up the good relationship with local media, covering newspaper, TV stations, radio stations, both in English and Chinese.
