RETAINER AGREEMENT
This agreement is entered into on ____/ ___/ _______ by and between ____________ hereinafter referred to as “Client”,and the Law Office of Victor Ocampo.
This Law Office will use its best efforts to represent Client to obtain ______________ for Client.
The legal service fees (excluding court/CIS fees/ costs) for this matter should be paid according to the schedule as follows:
Down payment of $_________for _______ is required when this agreement is signed by both parties.
Second payment of $__________ is due before __________________
The fee for appearance for the master hearing in immigration court in New York City is $300.
The fee for preparation and appearance for the individual hearing in immigration court in New York is $600.There will be an additional fee of $100 for each witness for the individual hearing.Cases out of New York City will be charged more,depending on the venues of the cases.
No portion of any fee paid to this Law Office will be refundable.But when the case was adjourned by the court and no appearance was made,the fee paid in advance will be applied to the next hearing.
This Law Office has the unilateral right to withdraw its representation from any agency,at any stage of the proceeding,should Client fail to make payments in accordance with the fee schedule.
While guaranteeing to use its best effort to represent Client,this office does not guarantee to obtain any specific outcome for Client.
Client has been informed that schedule on immigration matters is set by the related government agencies,not by this law office.
It is understood that this Retainer Agreement does not cover the services and fees for any appeal.
If Client fails to pay any portion of the fee for service rendered by this Law Office,Client is responsible for any costs and fees incurred in collection action by this Law Office.
Client certifies to have fully and honestly disclosed all material facts about this case to this Office.
Client has been informed that laws and procedures are governing the case are subject to change by the government and it is beyond the control of this Office and this Law Office is not liable for those changes.

应该指出,本协议所规定的费用不包括任何上诉的费用.
如果委托人没有交协议中规定的任何一项费用,本事务所将委托其他机构向委托人收取费用,造成委托人损失的,由委托人自负.
委托人需保证向本事务所提供关于本案充分而祥实的材料.
委托人需知,关于本案有关的任何法律条款是由政府部门制定的,可能会有所改动,本事务所无权干预,也不能对此负责.
