恩施自治州民族文化积淀深厚,特色绚丽.建筑上又别致的“吊脚楼”、“风雨桥”；饮食中有独特的“油茶汤”、“喝咂酒”、“吃年肉”；节俗里有意趣特别的“女儿会”、“牛王节”；婚丧习俗有奇特的“哭嫁”、“跳丧”；民间文艺有别开生面的“ 草锣鼓”、“摆手舞”；民间工艺织品有独具匠心的“西兰卡普”、“刺绣”等,充分展示了民族的独特个性与文化特征.

Enshi Tujia&Miao autonomous prefecture is located in southwest of Hubei province,which was founded in china.It is situated in a singgularly favorable economic position,enable Enshi to play the connecctions part of middle and west.the prefecture has an area of 24,000 square kilometers and has a population of 380,000.There are Tujia,MiaoDong nationnalities for 52.6%.
Enshi,withits long hietoey and splendid culture,a rather unique architecture such as"Diaojiao building""wind and rain bridge";a veryparticular food as "fried tea soup""Za wine""new year meet";the native festival as "loving engagement""date of cattle king";special wedding and funneral habitude such as "crying marriage""dancing for funeral";folk literary as"going for mowing""manus dancing",the folk arts and crafts textiles as "Xilankapu""embroidery"etc.,which has utterly showed its native style and culture .
Various historical and culture sites with special features we display here,in order to more and more people know Enshi prefecture well,drawingboth domestic and international attention.
