There were many mice in the house.Every day they were very happy.Then the owner of the house got a cat.The cat killed many of the mice The mice became very sad,but they could do nothing about it.They asked for help from other animals,but no one would help them.
The oldest mouse was very wise.He said to the mice one day,"All the mice must come to my hole tonight.We are going to have a meeting and thing about what we can do about this cat."
After dinner,all the mice came.Many mice spoke,but none knew what to do.At last,a clever young mouse stood up and said,"We must tie a bell to the cat.Then,when the cat comes near,we will hear the bell and run away and hide ourselves.So the cat will not catch any more mice."
Then the oldest mouse was pleased and said,"good idea!If any mouse thinks this idea is good,please put up your paw!"
All the mice put up their paws.
Then the oldest mouse said,"Who will tie the bell to the cat?"He looked around but no mouse answered.He waited a few minutes,but still no one answered.
At last he said,"It's not difficult to say things,but it is diffcult to do them.It;s easier said than done!"

Dogs are people's friends.They will do anyting their masters ask them to do and they do their duty very well.
Curly is my black dog.He is big and strong.He is strong enough to carry me on his back.He likes running and playing with me.He likes to follow my father around in the fields,too.
One day my father took off his coat and put it on the ground under a big tree.Curly stood there and looked at him.
My father said,"Watch my coat,Curly."
Curly sat down on the coat.Then my father remembered he had to make dinner for the family.So he went home and forgot all about his coat and the dog.
Late in the evening I missed my dog and looked for him everywhere in the house.I called,"Curly,Curly!"But Curly did not come.
Soon my father wanted someting that was in his coat pucket.THen he remembered that he had done.Quickly he went back to the big tree.What do you think he saw?Curly was still sitting on the coat!He was afraid someone would carry it away.

卷毛（CURLY应该是狗的名字,意思是卷曲的,我这里就翻译成卷毛了...贴近生活.哈哈）是我的小黑狗.他又大又壮.他强壮到可以把我背在背上.他喜欢奔跑和跟我玩耍.他也喜欢在地里跟着我的父亲.
一天 我的爸爸脱掉他的外套把它放在大树下的地上.卷毛站在那里看着他.
我父亲说：“看着我的外套,卷毛”
卷毛坐在外套上.然后我的父亲想起他要和家人吃饭,所以回家并忘记了他的外套和狗.
晚上很晚的时候 我想我的狗了并在家里到处找它.我叫到：“卷毛卷毛”但是卷毛没有回来.
很快,我父亲想要外套口袋里的东西,然后他想起他做了什么.很快,他跑回大树那里.你猜他看到了什么?卷毛还是坐在外套上!它怕别人会拿走外套.
