Giovanni Angelini, CEO and managing director of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, is awarded "2006 Corporate Hotelier of the World" by HOTELS, the magazine of the worldwide hotel industry. The award was voted upon by over 60,000 HOTELS readers in 170 countries.
The Shangri-La Group was set up by Mr. Robert Kuok. His nephew, Mr. Edward Kuok Khoon Loong is the Chairman of the Board for Shangri-La Asia Limited.
Shangri-La Asia Limited is incorporated in Bermuda with limited liability.
