To make her full of peace and laughter,
To let her has sweet songs everywhere.
To let her holds ponds of green water,
To let her sails under a sky with clouds found nowhere.

And I am also in this dream.
Different languages saying the two words,
Green Olympics.
Yeah,I can remember clearly,July 13th of 2001,the beautiful night,which no Chinese can forget.When I holding my mother’s hand,the air was almost froze,with no one could breathe.My familiars and I fixed our eyes on the television.As Mr.Samaranc said the word ‘BEIJING’,the whole China got ebullition.
Fuwa will serve as the Official Mascots of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games,carrying a message of friendship and peace--and blessings from China--to children all over the world.Beibei is the Fish,Jingjing is the Panda,Huanhuan is the Olympic Flame,Yingying is the Tibetan Antelope and Nini is the Swallow.When you put their names together--Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni--they say "Welcome to Beijing," offering a warm invitation that reflects the mission of Fuwa as young ambassadors for the Olympic Games.
Now that 2008 is coming,athletics coming from countries all around the world are going to come to China.We’re going to make the dream come true.making a better place of Green Olympics and sustainable development is just like stare in the face.
We should be awake,‘Cause we are the volunteers in the future

Ladies and gentlemen!Today I want to share with you a little observatoin I have. There are four animal symbols out of the five Friendlies：Beibei is the Fish, Jingjing is the Panda, Yingying is the Tibetan Antelope,andNini is the Swallow.Each of them stands for a crucial part of the environment: Beibei the fish for the water, Jingjing the panda for the forest Yingying the Tibetan Antelope for the mountain, and Nini the swallow for the sky. From this observation I find out how important the environment is for the Beijing Olympics, and I understand more about the government’s manifest of “The Green Olympics”.
As is well known, Beijing City has been short of water for a long time, and the situation is becoming worse and worse. It will become a big problem for the Beijing Olympic Games. So I decide to do what I, a young student can to protect the environment: I start to save water for Beijing, for 2008, for the Olympic Games.
In the first month, I found a lot of ways of saving water. When washing dishes, I fill one sink with soup water and the other with rinse water. In this way, I can clean the dish without the water run while rinsing. In the same way, I wash the fruits and vegetables in a pan of water instead of running water from the tap. And then I keep the rinsing water so that I can reuse it to water houseplants. (最好再来几个好点子)
At last, I made a water saving plan for myself and my family. I ask them to follow the saving steps and tell everybody they know about this plan. In this way, more and more people will start to save water for the Olympic Games. And Beibei the fish will be grateful for what we do for the environment.
Start with you, start with myself, make the little contribution we can in our daily life, the 2008 Green Olympics will become reality. I'm sure I will be proud of the little things I do for Beijing, so will you! Let’s say together: Welcome to Beijing!
