The cross
Once upon a time,there was a young man who was at the end of his rope.Seeing no way out,he became hopeless and turned to the Lord for help--he dropped to his knees in prayer.
“Lord,I can't go on” he said.“I have too heavy a cross to bear.Can you tell me how I should do and help me out?”
The Lord replied kindly,“ My son,if you can't bear its weight,you can place your cross inside this room.Then ,open that other door and pick out any cross you wish.”
The Man was filled with relief and said,“ Thank you,Lord.” He sighed and then he did as he was told.
After he entered the other room,he saw many crosses there,some so large that their tops were outof sight.
Then,he found a tiny cross leaning against a far wall.“I’d like that one,Lord,”he said ina low voice.
The Lord replied,“My dear son,it is just the cross you just brought in just now.”
When life's problems seem too difficult to solve,it helps to look around and see what other people are dealing with:you may consider yourself far more fortunate than you imagined.

十字架
很久很久以前,有一个年轻人在穷途末路,苦无出路的时候,充满了绝望地求助于上帝,他跪下向上帝祈祷.
“主啊,我受不了了,”他说.“我背负着的十字架十分沉重.你能指引我应该怎样做吗?“
主慈祥地回答说：“我的孩子,如果你不能承受的重量,你可以将它放在我的这个房间里.并打开房间的另外一扇门,挑选出你任何你想要的十字架.“
年轻人如释重负：我的主.”他叹了口气,然后顺着上帝的指引进行.
当他进入另一个房间,他看到有许多十字架,一些非常大,他们的顶部远远高出了年轻人的视线.
然后,他发现了一个墙边靠着一个很小的十字架.“天啊~我就要这个(小的),”他低声说.
主回答说,“我的孩子,这是你刚才带过来的那个.”
当生命中遇上难以解决的问题时,环顾四周,看其他人正面临的：你也许会发现自己比你想象的更为幸运.
