摘 要
由于当今世界经济、贸易朝全球化方向发展,国际市场间的商品数量和种类增多,必然需要有一种蕴涵特定意义与简单明了的载体来传递商品和企业的信息,于是商标作为一种社会经济产物应运而生.商标,能够传递产品的部分信息或企业的文化精神,是企业开拓市场、扩大市场份额的重要工具；尤其是在国际经济全球化进程背景下,企业为了让自身在激烈的国际竞争中推销出更多产品、取得有利优势,选择一个适合的翻译方法把一个商标恰当好处地从一种文字译成另一种文字是极其重要的环节.与此同时,这还跟我国企业经济发展的前途有着密切的关联,不容忽视.本文通过分析部分经典、成功中英商标词翻译实例,介绍了商标词语言的特点、商标词翻译的几种常用方法,并就其中应注意的问题进行了探讨.
