I will never forget the moment when I had to say goodbye to my best friend Li Ming who I made friends with when I was a little boy. When we were in the sixth grade, he had to move abroad, because his father would work there. This meant we would be separated. I was so sad that I wept at every night before he left. When the day we must say goodbye to each other. I sent him to the airport. I had prepared a gift for him and it was a diary which was kept by me. It contained all the memories of our happy time and some photos were included too. I gave it to him and I saw the tears in his eyes.
We hugged each other and I could find nothing to express myself. The only thing I could do was waving my hand and saying "Good bye"
From then on, we often contacted by writting letters or chatting on the Internet. We feel we are still best friends. I think distance is not the problem between ture friends. As long as we often communicate with each other. we will never lose the friend. Though being separated may be sad, don't let distance make you lose your friend. Keep touch with him (her) regularly.
