Nowadays there is often a lack of understanding between parents and children.First of all,parents don't have a lot of time to communicate with their children.Children go to school.Parents go to work.When they get home they are all tired so they all go to sleep.There's rarely any time for talking.There's a generation gap between the parents and children.The parents may like slow music,but children like hip-hop or rap music.THe parents may like to drink tea,but children like soft drink.Parents dislike what children like,and vice versa.Because there's a lack of communication,there are always misunderstandings.Often when the parents ask their children about something,the children will just assume that their parents won't understand,and just stop talking.Parents don't know what their children think and they have to make up some explanations which are usually wrong.It's time for parents and children to sit down and have a thorough talk about everything.They need to lie their ideas out there,and they'll see that it's actually not that hard to understand each other.The important thing is trying to listen to what one side has to say,and try to understand it.
