数字图像处理技术起源于20世纪20年代,但真正发展是在80年代后,随着计算机技术的和人工智能、思维科学研究的迅速发展,图像处理正向着高速、高分辨率、立体化、多媒体化、智能化和标准化方向发展。在图像通讯、办公自动化系统、地理信息系统、医疗设备、卫星照片传输及分析和工业自动化领域具有非常广泛的应用,并且出现了众多的图像处理理论和算法(Wavelet、Fractal、Morphology、遗传算法、神经网络等),如Fractal算法可以广泛应用到图像处理、图形处理、纹理分析,同时还可以用于数学、物理、生物、神经、和音乐等方面。
本文论述了数字图象处理部分功能的原理以及设计过程,并对同种功能的不同算法进行了比较。
