It was a fine day,with a strong sunlight and a gust of breeze.Because of the perfect weather,we planted to have a picnic.Having agreed on this plan,we prepared for the picnic.Later,after all things had been done,we decided to go.We drove into the country,with excited state of mind.We enjoyed the scenery along the way and expected to find a quiet spot to stay.Then we did so.As we had settled down everything,we unpacked our hampers eagerly.
On enjoying our picnic’s time,suddenly,there were a few wasps flying towards us.At first,we didn’t notice them,even care them,however,then a great many wasps appeared.We knew they were so dangerous that we had to take measure to drive them away.No matter how great efforts we had made,they were still there and refused to move.In the meantime,we saw a wasp nest in a tree nearby,so we seized our things at once and returned to car pursued by wasps.Fortunately,there was no wasp flying into our car,and we had to end our picnic and immediately drove away.

再答： when是指当。。。时，在做某事时 ；on是一。。。就。。。 后面又有suddenly 所以用when翻译的更通：当我们正在享受着野餐的乐趣时，突然。。。 而on：我们一开始享受野餐的乐趣，突然。。。 好像有点不太通 个人观点 仅供参考 谢谢
