Before he returned, his parents were very worried. They had been looking for him for three days. When they learned that their son had been found and would arrive by ship at night, they met him at the harbour. Everyone could imagine their reactions at that time.
The boy returned to school next morning. He was afraid he would be punished till he seen their friends at school. The boys gave him a hero’s welcome and asked him all kinds of questions. When he walked into the lead master’s office, he felt very serious. To his surprise, the lead master punished him by making him give a talk to the whole school about his experiences abroad.
