When I first entend college as a freshman ,I was afraid that I was not able to do well in my studies .I was afraid of being off by myself ,away from my family for the first time .Here I was surrounded by peopl-e I did not know and who did not know me .I would have to make friends with them and and perhaps also compete with them for grades in courses I would take .Were they smart than was could I keeep up with them Would they accept me
I soon learned that my life was now up to me .I had to set a study program if I wanted to succeed in my courses .I had to regulate the time I spent studying and the time I spent socializing .I had to decide when to go to bed ,when and what to eat ,when and what to drink ,and with whom to be friendly .These questions I had to answer for myself.
At first ,life was a bit difficult .I made mistakes in how I used my time .I spent too much time making friends.I also made some mistakesin how I chose my frist friends in college .
Shortly ,however ,I had my life under control .I managed to go to class on time ,do my frist assigments and hand them in ,and pass my frist exams with fairly good grades.In addition ,I made a few friends with whom I felt comfortable and with whom I could share my feras.I set up a rountine ----a rountine that met my needs .

当我身为第一次以这间大学新生的身份走进那间学校时,我十分担心我不能够很好的完成我的学习任务.我还害怕我不能很好的自立,因为这是我第一次离开我的父母.在那里到处都是陌生人,我不认识任何一个人,而也没有任何一个人认识我.我将必须与他们接触,成为朋友,并且我们也许在考试时成为竞争对手.那么,他们有多么的活泼（smart)呢?我能与他们保持友谊吗?他们又会接受（accept）我吗?
很快,我认识到成出生一直到现在的我.如果我想要成功的话,我不得不学习许多项目.我还必须调整（regulate）我的学习时间和社会活动（socialize）时间.我还不得不决定几点去睡觉,什么时候去吃的、喝的和有什么可以吃的、喝的,和可以与谁做朋友（ with whom to be friendly 是一句定语从句 原来是 to be friendly with whom）.这些问题我必须自己回答.
一开始,生活是有一点的困难.我在如何利用时间方面犯了许多的错.我在交友上花了太多的时间了.我在如何选择我的大学阶段第一位朋友上也犯了许多的过失.
但没过多久,虽然我的生活有点失去了控制,但我依然能准时回班,做我的第一份assigments（不知道怎么译啊）并且准时上交了,和以一份光明正大的、优秀的成绩通过了的第一次考试.除此之外,我交了一些令我感到非常舒服,能够一起分享喜悦的朋友.从此,我建立了一个rountine（不会译）——一个我需要的rountine
