1.Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank and of having nothing to do.请问这里的"of having nothing to do"里的of是因为get tired of 这个词组吗?我记得像这种词组前面介词出现过了,后面就不用再加这个介词了,直接"and having nothing .",是我记错了?还是这个of和get tired of无关?
2.This book had no pictures or conversations.我记得老师讲过no后面接名词的单数形式,课文里看到这句名词是复数形式,求解这是为什么?

1. of having nothing...中的of的确就是前面的get very tired of中的of；
如果把of省略,也是可以的.
省略语法比较灵活,有一些成分可以由作者自己决定省略与否,只要不影响读者的阅读和理解即可.

2. no后面既可以加可数名词的单复数形式,也可以加不可数名词.
估计是楼主自己记错了,当然也有可能是你老师说错了.
no + 可数名词单数= not a/an + 可数名词单数
no + 可数名词复数/不可数名词 = not any + 可数名词复数/不可数名词
而且,谓语动词的单复数由no后面的名词的性和数决定.
如：There are no students in the classroom.
There is no student in the classroom.
There is no water in the bottle.
