Breakfast ceral is no more known as the product of a health craze than Coca-Cola is though of as a rust-remover

两个东西在做比较

Breakfast cereal is known as the product of a health craze (早餐麦片一时之间被人认为是健康食品)

Coca-Cola is thought of as a rust-remover （可口可乐被认为是清洁剂）

这两种理念在做比较,(1) no more than (2).第一种想法并不比第二种想法多.
再问：那整句话的意思是什麼
再答：早餐麦片被认为是时尚的健康产品的想法并不比可口可乐被认为是除锈剂的想法更流行

我之前看错了，一直当dust-remover,其实是 rust-remover是除锈的。这样也对，可乐是酸性的，是可以除锈。

这里前面的no more是个副词，is known 这个动作的。

我举另一个例子：
He is better known as the the best player in NBA than he is known as a good husband.
比起他被当成一个好丈夫，他更被人熟知的是NBA最好的球员.

同样的意思，换成你的那种结构：
He is less known as a good husband than he is known as a great player.
//这里比较词是less, 你的是no more. 意思反过来而已。
//你看我之所以翻译成一种想法比另一种想法更流行，因为他们比较的是人们对一些东西的看法。
