I think students should help their parents to do some housework and chores.
It’s good for students to help with some chores, but many people don’t think students should do housework now because students these days already have enough stress from school, and anyway, they don’t have any time to do it.
Doing some housework can develop students’ independence. In fact, students these days depend on their parents too much, if they’re interested in doing housework, when they get older, they will look after themselves well. Doing some housework can also helps students to understand the idea of fairness, they should know that everyone should do their part in keeping it clean and tidy.
All in all, the earlier kids learn to be independent, the better it is for their future.

没有语法问题。但是housework和chores意义差不多，用or更好。housework or chores. these days 用得太频繁。可以用nowadays替换。
