有这么一道题,有两个句子,要求合并：1）The school is in Shenzhen.2)He studies in the school.
合并成：a）The school (in which he studies )is in Shenzhen.
b)The school (where he studies) is in Shenzhen.这是老师的例句,但是题目中有如下一题：
1）The school is in Shenzhen 2）I visited the school some years ago.
The school _____I visited some years ago is in Shenzhen.
老师说填which/that,因为后面的从句缺少宾语,但我并不是很理解这两句：
①因为我认为第一道题中“is in Shenzhen”不是缺少主语吗,为什么要用关系副词呢
②怎么看句子是否完整,看什么部分呢?visit 和study不是一个类型吗?

要看句子完整,很多时候取决于谓语动词时及物还是不及物动词,visit是不及物动词,因此后面要加宾语,所以要用关系代词which/that 指代前面的shool. 并且可以省略
study及物和不及物都可以,he studies是句完整的句子. 简单的来说,where后面接一个完整的句子
