1.to be recognized as 是做player 的状语,是一个词组,是惯用法.
2.不会有歧义呀,如果这个them代表的是人,那么就不会用titles了而是用names了,用titles已经说明their是articles
3.residents是居民,是句子的主语,included immigrants from……是对residents的补充,是residents的一部分.缩略起来就是because its residents (that have strong Buddhist traditions) .
4.这里的who不是说Bela Bartok 而是形容musicologist.因为wrote several books on Hungarian,Slocakian,and Romanian folk music的不止Bela Bartok一个musicologist.
5.had never played 是从未,是过去完成时,但是在过去时played了一次,而他的tall是过去一直都是,不管是不是played；应该用attended,相对于had never played这个过去完成时,是一个过去时.
看来你对时态的理解不是很好,排个序
从早到晚的排序是,过去完成时,过去时,现在完成时,现在时,未来完成时,未来时
然后做时态方面的题目,最重要的是找句子里的参照点,搞清楚事件发生的顺序.
