楼主第一句话,除了who in a great pain,中间加一个was以外,后面的would make 就要改作would makes.因为我不知道楼主到底想要表达的是在一场选举中的失败方,还是每场选举中的失败者,如果是想表达复数,改作复数即可,还要把a去掉,痛苦是无法用冠词来衡量的.然后其他的感觉你这句话虽然没错,但是总觉得有些混乱,可不可以把the loser of election of U.S. president改作 the loser of U.S. presidential election,感觉要清爽的多.第二句话看似没问题,但是要把it换成that,指代的是上面第一句话说的事情.第三句话中how are you feeling感觉明显中文化了,应该改成What's your feeling,之后的after you改成after your,或者不要you直接把fail改作（when you have been）defeated,之所以这么改一是为了句子完整,二是前面已经有you这个主语了省略,之后的林肯的话没什么大问题,stumbles into更标准些,he is grown up中的is改成has,另外最后一句话我总感觉好像没说完一样,原因可能是最后的which引导的定语从句主语不明确,如果pain是主语的话,因为句子还原后,最后一句就成了dfficult to laugh the pain,改的办法就是不要把最后一句变成定语从句,变成宾语从句就行了,最后我把全文修改一遍.
