The story is told about what happened on a flight between a passenger and an air hostess. The passenger rang and told the air hostess (乘务员) that he needed a cup of water to take his medicine when the plane just took off. She told him that she would bring him the water in ten minutes.
Thirty minutes later, when the passenger’s ring for service sounded, the air hostess was in a hurry. She was kept so busy that she forgot to give him the water.She hurried over to him with a cup of water, but he refused it.
In the following hours on the flight , each time the air hostess passed by the passenger she would ask him with a smile whether he needed help or not. But the passenger never paid attention to her.
When the passenger was going to get off the plane, he asked the air hostess to give him the passengers’ booklet (意见薄). She was very sad . She knew he would write down sharp words, which might result in the loss of her job. but with a smile she handed it to him.
Off the plane, she opened the booklet, and cracked a smile, for the passenger put it, “On the flight, you asked me whether I need help or not for twelve times in all . How could I refuse your twelve sincere（真诚的） smiles?”
That’s right ! Who can refuse twelve sincere smiles from a person?

当乘客准备下飞机，他问女乘务员要了意见薄。她很不开心。她知道他会写下劣评，可能会导致她被解雇。但她还是面带微笑地递给他。
下了飞机，她打开意见薄，绽出一个微笑，因为乘客是那样写的：「在飞行途中，你问了我十二次是否需要些什么，我怎么能拒绝你那12个真诚的微笑呢？」
这也是！又有谁能拒绝一个人的12个真诚的微笑呢？
