"What a wonderful world it is!" sang the grasshopper,and he danced happily all day in the sun.
While the grasshopper was enjoying himself,the ants were working.They were colleting food for winder.they worked from morning till night.
"Look out,friends!Look out for grasshopper!"shouted an ant with a large piece of leaf on his back.But it was toolate,the grasshopper crashed into them.Everything fell off their backs.
"Oh,Gasshopper!please be careful!we have such a lot of work to do " said the ants angrily and they bagan to pick everything up again.
"How busy you all are!" sang the grasshopper."It is such nice weather!stop wroking and come and play,there is enough food to eat all day."
'Be careful,grasshopper "said the ants."Winter is coming.'
"Oh,it isn't winter yet," said the grasshopper,and he danced aeeay in the sun.
"How silly grasshopper is!"said the ants to each other.'he'd better take care or he'll have no food for winter!"
Day after day,the grasshopper sang and the ants busily
collected their food.June dame and went,and then July and August.In september,the air began to get colder.One very cild morning,the ants didn't hear the grasshopper's music.Then,the grasshopper came to see them .
'I've never been so hungry,' he said quietly.'It'so cold outside and I haven't got anything to eat.DO you think...could I have...May I have something to eat,please?Just a little piece of bread?'
"We 're sorry,but you can't,' said the ants."Whie you were singing and dancing,we were working hard .We told you to be careful,but you laughed at us.We're sorry,but the winter may be long.We can't give you any of our food."
