几个英语语法方面的问题,
1.performance,appearance,preference,像这些词后面的部分怎么判断该填rence还是rance,是与发音规则有关吗
2.sort out,categorize,classify这三个词作动词时是否可以混用,或还是有细微差别
3.looks like/looks as if/looks as though这三个词是否可以混用,或还是有细微差别
4.First and foremost和Above all这两个词组哪个更正式或更常用?
5.keep one's words/keep to one's words/stick to one's words是否可以混用,或还是有细微差别
6.make fun of/play joke on所用的对象是否有差别
7.He reached London in 1996,where,in almost no time at all,he became a famous actor.(Where能否用after which代替,如不可以请解释)
8.Alec asked the policeman with whom he used to work to contact him whenever there was an accident.这句话的意思
9.The band has four members.One in the four members was found through the newspaper while the other 3 were actors.这句话的意思
10.stay up late和sleep late是否有区别,don't go to sleep until midnight和dont't sleep until midnight是否有区别
11.Sunday is a day for rest when people don't go to work.(when能否用on which代替,不可以请解释)
12.The car ran so fast that I didn't see who was in it.(in it能否用inside代替)

7 不能,你想想where说的是London,不是这个到达London的动作
