if表示一种假设“如果”,和前句句意不符.
3.Tom这类表示人的姓名的专有名词,前面不用加定冠词the;
father前面正常要加上the,但是该短语在句中做同位语且表示独一无二的头衔时,the可以去掉.
不过我个人觉得答案是：the,/ 更佳.
