礼俗：
在初八晚过后,初九的子时,即是祭神时间.这时,信仰天公的家庭都会准备祭品拜天公.
讲究仪式的家庭,会在户外或在户内院子里选择一处没有遮拦、可以直对天际的空间,用两张桌子重叠成高坛,又在两侧各放一枝甘蔗,以便朝望天空祭神.祭神的甘蔗须带叶,以征节节上升甜节节和开枝散叶.
