我今天早晨看到这样一个句子：
It is conflict and not unquestioning agreemnet that deeps freedom alive .in a free country there will always be conflicting ideas ,and this is a source of strength.(使自由保持活力是冲突而不是绝对的一致.在一个自由国家里总会有各种相冲突的思想,而这正是力量的源泉——杰弗逊,美国总统)
其中,让我不明白的是这个句子里的deeps freedom alive,这是什么用法呀,我结合句子意思理解的是conflict deeps freedom alive,就是冲突使自由保持冲突的意思,可是也有同学告诉我：deeps freedom alive 是修饰agreement的,是定语从句,呵呵,可是我觉得如果是agreement的定语从句,那句子的意思就不对了,呵呵,请英语好的给我讲讲呀,
第2个问题是there will alwawys be conflicting ideas 可以写成：there always will be conflicting··吗,就是always换位置,换到前面去··

Conflict and not unquestioning agreemnet deeps freedom alive （根据就近一致的原则,谓语动词 deep 应该与 agreement 一致,用单数第三人称形式）
也就是说在这里把主语 conflict and not unquestioning agreemnet 放在强调句式“It is + 被强调部分 + that + 其他成分”里去了
