1) I went to Beijing in the holiday and it was a trip that enriched my life experience. I am so proud of my ancestors, whom had built the famous Imperial Palace and Temple of Heaven. It is so hard to imagine them building such magnificent structures back in few hundred years time. The carvings and interior design are so exquisite and elegant, marking the intelligence of Chinese people. This memorable trip makes me appreciate the chinese culture and my country. I am so proud to be a Chinese.
2) Study! Study! Study! This is the word that I hear most often from parents, teachers and relatives. It is the most important thing that they expect me to do, even if the world is ending. But I really want to tell them, study is not the only thing to do in this world. There are so many wonderful activities out there that I could undertake to enhance my life experience and knowledge. For example: travelling helps me to broaden my view of the world and help to to build my own perspective about the world. This is a good and effective way for me to learn. So I want to tell the adults: study is important but it is not the only method for me to gain knowledge.
