江苏省赣榆海洋经济开发区成立于2003年,为江苏省首家成立的以海洋产业为主的省级开发区,也是连云港市唯一一家海洋经济开发区,园区总规划面积158平方公里,其中陆地面积28平方公里.
开发区紧邻赣榆县新城,东临黄海,位于连云港市“一体两翼”港口规划和“T”型产业布局发展战略的北翼,是连云港市“一心三极”城市发展格局的北极,是实施《江苏沿海地区发展规划》的主战场.园区区域位置优越,水、电、气等基础设施完备,拥有大量国有性质的建设用地.204国道、242省道、沿海高速纵贯全区,距青岛260公里、连云港机场35公里、连云港港20公里.
