convenience 用法
convenience的用法并不特殊,有几个短语要记住.
1.at your convenience在您方便时,得便(请…)
Please call me back at your convenience.
请你方便的时候回个电话给我.
2.at your earliest convenience在您方便时请早日…,得便请尽早…
3.make a convenience of someone利用某人(的善良忠厚或热情待人等)
但它的形容词形式convenient
convenient表示方便的,其句子的主语往往是it,如:It’s convenient for me to come at that time.那时我方便来.
特别需要强调的是,如果想表达“如果你方便”时,句子主语一定不能够说成if you are convenient…,而应该用it做形式主语,即：if it is convenient for you to …
